Dubai is already working towards being a smart city, and DAFZA is right on track by providing smart solutions that attract global investors. May Ali has been working with DAFZA as a Master of Ceremony (MC) and presenter for a while now. Their efforts are remarkable when it comes to finding new ways to promote innovation and economic growth for the Free Zones and for Dubai as a whole. According to Ali, who hosted panels at “The Big Conversation” and the series of interactive sessions it contained, the seminars were creating a favorable platform for brainstorming for innovative business strategies that would support a sustainable economy in Dubai. So much so that she couldn’t stop sharing information and pictures from the different presentations. DAFZA is providing solutions for developing a sustainable economic and social environment with an emphasis on exploring ways to stimulate innovation. As H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said: “Dubai is now at the gateway of a brand new phase of comprehensive sustainability that aims to build a competitive knowledge-based economy nurtured by the values of innovation and creativity”.
